Women Who've Had Sex are Like Pre-licked Lollipops?
An article in No Greater Joy magazine discusses comparing women for marriage to lollipops in a candy store and those who have had sex (gasp) to pre-licked candy bars, earning him the moniker "Non-virgins are like pre-licked lollipops.
The articles decrying the bald patriarchy and sexual discrimination coupled with sex shaming are certainly accessible, however, I would like to see more information in the mainstream press countering these worn-out ideas.
The world has changed for the more fortunate while those not exposed to philosophies related to freedom, equality, and human rights live under draconian rules. Since I grew up with similar shame, I am disappointed to see people teaching children that only marrying as a virgin gives you value to your husband, future children, and the world beyond.
